From Humble Beginnings to Technological Pioneers

R. Watson & Associates, Inc. (RWA) was established in June 2000, initially focusing on developing Pass Perfect's flagship SMART product. We swiftly grew to become an essential partner for our earliest clients, dedicating over two decades to meet their technological demands. We created their Databank product and the highly reviewed Databank To Go app for Android and iOS. This foundational partnership shaped our core values: direct engagement, steadfast commitment, and an unyielding focus on outcomes. In 2018, PassPerfect was sold to CeriFi and is now the largest provider of securities exam prep in the US.

Our team is our greatest asset - incredibly smart, passionate, and driven. We go beyond mere coding; we architect digital solutions tailored for various enterprises. Our philosophy integrates the latest technology with clear, effective strategies. We're actively expanding our use of AI across our software services, enhancing efficiency and positioning our clients as strategic partners in their operations. Additionally, we've ventured into innovative areas like:

  • Using clustered Raspberry Pis to interface with FANUC robots, enhancing uptime through Kubernetes and securing communications with Tailscale.
  • Created and manage a comprehensive system for purchasing, receiving, inventory, and shipping, which handled over 4 million pounds in 2024, with 3.97 million pounds shipped via UPS in 89,000 packages.
  • This inventory system integrates with a custom e-commerce site, CRM, and marketing email system.
  • For another client, we developed a solution for industrial printing, resulting in an open-sourced NuGet package for the Keyence MK-G1000 continuous inkjet printer, available on GitHub.
